DESCRIPTION:Effective Vineyard Spraying & Drift Management Workshop\nThursday\, June 19th \nRegistration and Field Demonstration 8:00-11:00 a.m.\nVino Farms Ranch 1\n13130 E. Peltier Rd.\nLook for the LoCA sign \nLunch and Classroom Session 12:00 – 3:00 p.m\nWine and Roses Cellar Room\n2505 W Turner Rd\,\nLodi\, CA 95242 \nThe Vineyard Team and the Lodi Winegrape Commission are collaborating with Dr. Andrew Landers of Cornell University\, author of the book Effective Vineyard Spraying\, to host an in-depth training courses on spray application techniques. This workshop will be split between the field and classroom to demonstrate spraying techniques and technologies that will improve spray deposition\, reduce off-target drift\, help reduce pesticide use\, and show you how to modify your existing sprayer. A total of 6 DPR CE hours have been applied for (other category). This workshop is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture and National Institute of Food and Agriculture through the Western Integrated Pest Management Center. \nThe objectives of this workshop are to:\n•	Improve your knowledge of spraying techniques leading to better deposition and less drift\n•	Improve your timeliness of application resulting in better disease and insect control\n•	Reduce off-target drift keeping you within the law\n•	Show you how to modernize your existing sprayer\n•	Inform you of new developments in sprayer design keeping you up-to-date\n•	Help you potentially reduce pesticide use by 30% – 40%\, improving your profitability.\nRegistration information:\n•	To register contact Molly Bjork at molly@lodiwine.com or (209) 367-4727.\n•	Free for Crush District 11 (Lodi) growers.\n•	$40 fee for non-Crush District 11 growers.
