SUMMARY:AERIAL IMAGERY WORKSHOP
DESCRIPTION:AERIAL IMAGERY WORKSHOP \nDate:  Thursday\, August 2nd\, 2018 \nTime:  2pm – 4:30pm \nCost:  FREE\, all are welcome \nVenue:  Burgundy Hall\, Grape Festival Grounds\, 413 E Lockeford St\, Lodi\, CA  95240 \nCredits:  2.5 (CCA – Crop Management) approved \nWho Should Attend:  Anyone interested in aerial imagery.  Are you currently using aerial imagery in your vineyard?  We need grower perspectives – please call Stephanie!  209.367.4727 \nDescription:  Aerial imagery has the potential to help farmers more efficiently manage their vineyards\, especially those managing hundreds of acres. However\, it’s tough to know where to start and which vendor to partner with. There is no thorough third-party review of what is available. So\, we’re holding this joint meeting with The Vineyard Team to review the types of aerial imagery technology available (satellite\, fixed wing\, & UAV) and to learn what various companies can offer the grower. Information presented will include: a step by step review of how several aerial imagery systems work (timing\, cost\, software\, interpretation of data\, turnaround time\, data format)\, what information the imaging system can provide and how that can be used\, along with the pros and cons from a grower perspective. \nRSVP if you can by 8/1: 209.367.4727 or lwwc@lodiwine.com
