Improving nitrogen fertilizer efficiency in winegrapes: application timing comparisons and refinement of critical tissue analysis levels in four important cultivars

First Objective: To determine the most efficient timing of nitrogen fertilization in four important wine grape cultivars -- French Colombard, Chenin blanc, Barbera, and Grenache. The purpose is to maximize the cost efficiency of nitrogen, minimize nitrate contamination of groundwater, while optimizing fruit quality and yields.
