Vertebrate pest management in orchards

First Paragraph: Bird and mammal pests are found in and around orchards throughout the state. Some damage caused by birds results in loss of the current fruit or nut crop; other damage caused by rodents, rabbits, or deer may result in more lasting or permanent tree damage and can lower yields for years following the injury.
