TREE OF HEAVEN REMOVAL DEMO

Description:  Most people are unaware of the damage caused by the Tree of Heaven, both to our agroecosystems and structurally to roads, pipes, and buildings. This invasive, toxic weed is rapidly spreading in farming, industrial, residential, and transit areas across California and it takes a specific technique to remove it from the landscape (cutting it signals the tree to grow new suckers via the huge roots). Kyle will teach us how to safely remove Tree of Heaven plants and colonies using a tool called the EZ-Ject Lance, which will be available to rent from the Lodi Winegrape Commission.
