UC DAVIS: 2019 WINE GRAPE IRRIGATION SHORT COURSE

Time:  8:15am – 5:30pm, both days

Cost:  $695 per person includes:  Two full days of instruction with hands on demonstrations in our Oakville vineyard,  Electronic binder of all presentations, Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments are included for both days of the course.

Credits:  CCA credits (pending approval)

Who should attend:  New and experienced growers as well as other industry members interested in commercial grape production that rely on micro and surface irrigation.

Description:  Plan to join us for this integrated vineyard irrigation management short course featuring UC faculty, UC Cooperative Extension specialists and farm advisers, and USDA researchers who will provide an in-depth, comprehensive study of all phases of grapevine irrigation design, implementation, automation, physiological effects and resulting wine composition.  The program is based on the latest information and research and will cover the fundamental principles that form the basis for practical decisions and include Q&A for each session, quality time with instructors and networking opportunities.
