Weed management is a major viticultural activity, and growers contribute a significant amount of resources to managing weed populations in their vineyards. At this breakfast meeting we will hear from two weed scientists who have a great deal of practical experience with weed management in vineyards. Brad Hanson will cover the very important topic of how weed species have been developing resistance to the most common herbicides and how you can avoid this problem. John Roncoroni will present research results from field trials looking at the impact of grape leaf litter on herbicide effectiveness.
2 hours of DPR and CCA credits will be available.
