First three sentences: Vine nutrition is always on the minds of winegrape growers. Whether it is a desire to keep vines healthy and producing an optimum yield or wanting to obtain the highest quality possible for any particular vineyard. Over the last several years many Lodi growers and consultants have realized that previous knowledge about optimum vine nutrition and how to assess vine nutrient status is not good enough anymore for judging the nutrient level and managing the nutrition program for the newer rootstocks, varieties and clones.
