Vineyard canopy management practices for improving grapevine microclimate, fruit composition, and wine quality
Project Objective: Determine the effect of different vineyard cultural practices(trellising, hedging, pruning level, and leaf removal) on vine microclimate, fruit composition, and wine quality. Emphasis will be on studying ways to reduce must pH through modification of canopy microclimate by canopy management practices.
