Topic:  Nematode Management in the Vineyard

Speaker:  Amanda Hodson, PhD, Assistant Professor of Soil Ecology and Pest Management, UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology

Description: Our group meets monthly to discuss current vineyard pests and their management. This month, Dr. Amanda Hodson (UC Davis) will teach us about nematodes and their management, crucial to understand whether you’re growing grapes or rotating your field into an orchard or another crop. Learn the types of nematodes, how to prevent damage, and how to sample the soil for nematodes.
